CODE VIOLATION DESC : A LAUNDRY AREA ROOM HAS BEEN CREATED AT THE REAR AREA BEHIND UNIT #2332 WHICH NOW BLOCKS THE ORIGINAL REAR EGRESS FROM UNIT #2332. PLUMBING PIPING HAS BEEN INSTALLED, WOOD FRAMING BLOCKING THE EGRESS AND CEILING PANELS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED WHICH NOW COMPROMISES THE INTEGRITY OF THE SPRINKLER HEAD. PERMIT RESEARCH FAILED TO PRODUCE EVIDENCE THAT ANY VALID PERMIT WERE ISSUE TO INSTALL A LAUNDRY AREA ROOM AND BLOCK OFF THE EGRESS PATHWAY. THE FOLLOWING LIFE/SAFETY HAZARD EXISTS AT THIS PROPERTY: *NUISANCE(1001-d HC) *WORK WITHOUT PERMIT(301 HC, 106A, 108.4.1 SFBC) *LACK OF APPROVED SECOND MEANS OF EGRESS(801 SFHC) *UNAPPROVED PLUMBING(1001-f SFHC) *NO EVIDENCE THAT THE REQUIRED ONE HOUR FIRE RESISTANT MATERIALS WERE CORRECTLY INSTALLED SEPRATING ROOMS(601 SFHC)

FAILURE COMMENT DESCRIPTION :   SUBMIT A COPY OF THIS NOTICE AND TWO SETS OF PLANS WITH THE BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION TO LEGALIZE THE LAUNDRY AREA ROOM BEHIND UNIT # 2332 OR TO REVERT THIS AREA TO ITS LAST LEGAL USE. AFTER THE BUILDING PERMIT IS ISSUED, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL PERMITS MUST ALSO BE OBTAINED. PLEASE HAVE ALL APPROVED PLANS, PERMITS, AND SIGNED/FINALIZED JOB CARDS BY PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, AND BUILDING INSPECTORS. TO ABATE THIS NOTICE OF VIOLATION YOU MUST CONTACT A HOUSING INSPECTOR AFTER ALL WORK IS COMPLETE AS ITEMIZED ABOVE.
