YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
 ITEMDESCRIPTION
1THIS NOTICE INCLUDES VIOLATIONS FOR THE AREAS NOTED. 1100 Leavenworth exterior
2POST SIGN. (SFEBC 327.5.4)The responsible party did not post a sign stating the lead work was in progress before work began that disturbs and/or removes lead-based paint

For exterior work: Post at front of building in a location clearly visible to occupants of the subject property and to adjacent properties.
3REQUIREMENTS FOR SIGN. (SFEBC 327.5.5) The responsible party did not provide written notice of work that disturbs and/or removes lead-based paint to residents of subject property and adjacent properties at least three business days before work began. Where it is not possible to post signs in a conspicuous location clearly visible to adjacent properties, the owner shall provide the appropriate written notice to occupants of adjacent properties.
4NOTICE TO RESIDENTIAL OCCUPANTS (SFEBC 327.5.6) The owner did not provide written notice of work that disturbs and/or removes lead-based paint to residential occupants at least three business days before work began . The owner shall provide the appropriate written notice to residential occupants.
5SANDING OR SCRAPING (SFEBC 327.2) Lead-based paint was disturbed or removed through the use of dry manual sanding or scraping, or machine sanding or grinding, or abrasive blasting or sandblasting without containment and barrier systems or a HEPA vacuum local exhaust tool. Immediately stop dry manual sanding or scraping, or machine sanding or grinding, or abrasive blasting or sandblasting without the appropriate containment and barrier systems or HEPA vacuum local exhaust tool.
6DEMOLITION (SFEBC 327.2) Lead-based paint was disturbed or removed during alteration or demolition work without containment and barrier systems or HEPA vacuum local exhaust tool. Use appropriate containment and barrier systems or HEPA vacuum local exhaust tool when creating work debris during alteration or demolition work.
7RESTRICT ACCESS. (SFEBC 327.4.1). Access by third parties to the regulated area was not restricted Restrict access by third parties to the regulated area.
8CONTAINMENT AND BARRIER SYSTEMS (SFEBC 327.4.2) A containment and barrier system was not established that contains the work debris within the regulated area.
9PREVENT MIGRATION (SFEBC 327.4.3) Work debris migrated beyond the containment and barrier system(s) during the course of the work. Establish containment and barrier system(s) that prevent migration of work debris.
10CLEAN UP STANDARDS (SFEBC 327.4.4) Visible work debris was not cleaned up at the completion of work or when access to the regulated area was required. Clean up all visible paint debris within 2 DAYS of the date of this Notice of Violation.
11CLEARANCE REPORT. (SFEBC 327.2 and 327.6.4). To resume work, the responsible party(ies) shall have a clearance inspection of the regulated area performed by an independent certified lead inspector/assessor to verify the absence of lead-based paint hazards.
12INSPECTOR COMMENTIt is the property owner's responsibility to be present or direct his/her representative to attend, the re-inspection as scheduled on this Notice of Violation for the purpose of providing entry to the Inspector of those areas not accessed during the initial inspection as specified, and/or to a access to all areas cited within this Notice. If the property owner cannot attend the scheduled re-inspection (as specified on this Notice) it is his/her responsibility to secure a different inspection date and time with the Inspector, and provide all tenants with notification as required by California Civil Code Section 1954 (San Francisco Housing Code Section 303(b), if any dwellings, apartment units or guest rooms are to be accessed during the re-inspection.
Correction of violations cited in this Notice may require Building, Plumbing and/or Electrical permits. It is the responsibility of the owner to obtain (or have others obtain) any required permits before beginning work that requires permit(s). When applying for a Permit, reference the complaint number from this Notice of Violation. You must have the proper permit signed-off and finalized before housing inspector returns in order for this violation to be abated.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of this violation, this property has been defined as a Nuisance per section 1001(d) of the San Francisco Housing Code.


ALL ITEMS MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 2 DAYS. REINSPECTION DATE: 29 September 2020 02:00:00 PM

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE OWNER/OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRM REINSPECTION DATE/TIME.
