CODE VIOLATION DESC : A complaint investigation has revealed several unsafe conditions affecting the commercial space at the ground floor. 1) A sewer line for the apartments above has failed and caused the collapse of the ceiling in the rear room of the commercial space. 2) The sewage has flooded the rear rooms of the commercial space and the main electrical room. 3) Garbage and debris are blocking the second means of egress from the commercial space creating a life safety issue. A motorcycle is chained to the gate blocking egress as well. Code/Section: SFBC 102.A Monthly monitoring fee applies. Code/Section: SFBC 110A, Table 1A-K

FAILURE COMMENT DESCRIPTION :   1) Obtain a plumbing permit to effect repairs and address the sewage leak. 2) File for and obtain a building permit to replace the collapsed ceiling and repair any other damages. 3) Clear all exits of garbage and debris within 3 days. Permit application must state to comply with NOV. Obtain all required inspections to abate this NOV.
