YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
 ITEMDESCRIPTION
1THIS NOTICE INCLUDES VIOLATIONS FOR THE AREAS NOTED.This Notice includes violations of the San Francisco Housing Code. Unless noted otherwise, all violations were observed on the date of inspection at 2369 Chestnut Street, unit 1, San Francisco, CA.
2REPAIR THE SECONDARY ENTRY DOOR 706.9b1, 807 SFHC Daylight can be seen at the leading edge of the back door in the bedroom leading down the back stairs.

Repair the entry door so that it provides an energy efficient and weather proof fit. Upon completion the door and jamb shall be tight fitting, in good condition, self-closing and self-latching.
3REPAIR DELAPIDATED WOOD FLOORING 1001 b, d, 1306 SFHCThe wood floor in the bedroom described above is warped, shrunken and cracked. The seams in the floor are gapping. The oak planking has shrunken and the finish has worn off.

Repair or replace the damaged flooring in the bedroom. When complete, the floor shall offer a durable and cleanable finish.
4RESTORE the WINDOW TO OPERATIONAL CONDITION 504d2, 1001d SFHCThe windows along the front elevation of the unit are missing plastic clips. The bottom sash frames are no longer secure and may fall.

Repair or replace the windows throughout the unit.
5PROVIDE ELECTRICAL CONVENIENCE OUTLETS 504e SFHCThe receptacle powering the television is wired improperly in a number of ways. Sheathed conductors exit the junction box from behind the cover plate. After becoming visible at the base of the wall, the sheathed conductors go through the drywall back into a stud bay and then feed the outlet for the television.

Repair the wiring to this outlet.

6PROVIDE the SERVICES of a STRUCTURAL PEST CONTROLLER 1001b12, d, k, 1306, 1308 SFHCThere is evidence of rodent problems at this address. Provide invoices from your pest control service to demonstrate regular pest control.

If you do not have regular pest control, provide the services of a licensed pest controler.
7INSPECTOR COMMENTSIMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of this violation, this property has been defined as a Nuisance per section 1001-d of the San Francisco Housing Code.

It is the property owner¿s responsibility to be present or direct his/her representative to attend the re-inspection as scheduled on this Notice of Violation for the purpose of providing entry to the Inspector of those areas not accessed during the initial inspection as specified, and/or to provide access to all areas cited within this Notice.

If the property owner cannot attend the scheduled re-inspection (as specified on this Notice) it is his/her responsibility to secure a different inspection date and time with the Inspector, and provide all tenants with notification as required by California Civil Code Section 1954 (San Francisco Housing Code Section 303(b), if any dwellings, apartment units or guest rooms are to be accessed during the re-inspection.


ALL ITEMS MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 30 DAYS. REINSPECTION DATE: 18 December 2024 11:30:00 AM

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE OWNER/OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRM REINSPECTION DATE/TIME.
