YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
 ITEMDESCRIPTION
1THIS NOTICE INCLUDES VIOLATIONS FOR THE AREAS NOTED.Routine safety inspection of Public and Common areas at 57 - 61 Albion Street.
Chapters 1, 2, & 3 of the San Francisco Housing Code require that the Department of Building Inspection perform periodic health & safety inspections of residential property.
This Routine Inspection was conducted to assure that all requirements have been met per attached Routine Inspection Checklist.
2REPAIR WOOD POSTS (1001(b)(13)HC) Wood deterioration / decay was noted (and pointed out to property owner) at the bottom portion of two intermediate supporting posts.
Repair or replace as required to maintain a safe and sound structure.

Note: the items of correction listed above are those were accessible and observed on inspection day, and do not include deterioration/damage which was not easily accessible and/or may be concealed and become evident during repairs. It is the property owner¿s responsibility to have the structure thoroughly inspected, by a qualified expert, and maintained on a regular basis.
3REMOVE ROOF ACCESS WOODEN UTILITY LADDER (1001(b)(13), (d), (j) & (l) SFHC) NOTE:
Building permit is required to replace the roof access wooden ladder with a metal one.
4PROVIDE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS TYPE 2A 10BC OR EQUIVALENT.(905, 1001(n)HC / 3.29 SFFC) A minimum of one '2-A:10-B:C' extinguisher for each 3,000 square feet of floor area is required.
Travel distance shall not exceed 75 feet to the nearest extinguisher.
All fire extinguishers are required to be recharged and serviced annually and date tag must be current and posted by a qualified professional vendor.
Check the pressure gauge periodically as occasionally the seal may leaks and the unit becomes ineffective.


ALL ITEMS MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 60 DAYS. REINSPECTION DATE: 18 May 2009 10:30:00 AM

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE OWNER/OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRM REINSPECTION DATE/TIME.
