YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

1THIS NOTICE INCLUDES VIOLATIONS FOR THE AREAS NOTED.3531 MISSION ST.:
2PROVIDE BUILDING ADDRESS (706(b.11)HC)MAIN ENTRANCE DOORS: Paint existing building's identification numbers a contrasting color to the background as required.

IF NUMERALS ARE REPLACED THEN THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES APPLY:

Provide building numbers as per the official street number assignment.

Place the numbers on the building in such a position that the number is easily visible to approaching emergency vehicles.

The numerals shall NOT be less than 4 inches in height and shall be a contrasting color to the background.

All numbers must be made of substantial and permanent material and must be so affixed as not to easily effaced or removed.
3REMOVE ROOF ACCESS LADDER (1001(b.13)(d), 605 HC)ROOF ACCESS LADDER @ REAR EXTERIOR STAIR: Remove wooden ladder to roof as required.

YOU ARE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A BUILDING PERMIT TO EITHER REMOVE THE ROOF ACCESS LADDER OR REPLACE IT.

IN ORDER TO ABATE THIS NOTICE OF VIOLATION the Building Inspector must finalize/SIGN the Job Card BEFORE the Housing Inspector's reinspection. Please present the approved APPLICATION & FINALIZED JOB CARD to the Housing Inspector at reinspection.

PLEASE NOTE: The BUILDING INSPECTOR is DIFFERENT than the HOUSING INSPECTOR (The Housing Inspector is the person who's name appears at the bottom of this Notice)

PLEASE CALL 415.558.6096 to schedule an appointment with the Building Inspector BEFORE the reinspection date with the Housing Inspector (SEE BOTTOM OF NOTICE FOR REINSPECTION DATE)
4INSPECTOR COMMENTSTO OCCUPANT: It is the responsibility of the owner of this property to comply with the attached Notice of Violation. A copy has been sent to the Owner. This copy is for your information. If you have any questions, please contact the Property Owner, Manager, or Management Company.

It is also the Owner's responsibility to provide prior notification of intended entry to all affected tenants per California Civil Code 1954 (303b HC)
5INSPECTOR COMMENTSOWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO MEET INSPECTOR AS SCHEDULED ON THIS NOTICE OF VIOLATION (see date below): It is the property owner¿s responsibility to be present or direct his/her representative to attend, the reinspection as scheduled on this Notice of Violation for the purpose of providing entry to the Inspector of those areas not accessed during the initial inspection as specified, and/or to provide access to all areas cited within this Notice.
6INSPECTOR COMMENTSIf the property owner cannot attend the scheduled reinspection (as specified on this Notice) it is his/her responsibility to secure a different inspection date and time with the Inspector, and provide all tenants with notification as required by California Civil Code Section 1954 (San Francisco Housing Code Section 303(b)), if any dwellings, apartment units or guest rooms are to be accessed during the reinspection.
7INSPECTOR COMMENTSNOTE: Please call & speak with me directly in order to request alternate reinspection dates. If I do not answer the telephone during these hours, then phone the front desk @ 558.6220 and ask the attendant on duty for my whereabouts.

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE OWNER/OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRM REINSPECTION DATE/TIME.

FOR EVERY INSPECTION AFTER THE INITIAL RE-INSPECTION, A $181.82 FEE WILL BE CHARGED UNTIL THE VIOLATIONS ARE ABATED. SFBC 108.8
