3REPAIR STAIRS (1001(b)(13)HC)DETERIORATION WAS NOTED ON THE EXTERIOR SECOND EGRESS STAIRWAY. THE HANDRAILS, LANDING BOARDS, STAIR TREADS, STRINGERS AND SUPPORT POSTS AND BEAMS HAVE SIGNS OF WOOD DETERIORATION AND ARE IN NEED OF REPAIR. OBTAIN A BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION, COMMENCE REPAIRS AND HAVE INSPECTED BY THE DISTRICT BUILDING INSPECTOR. ALSO HAVE NEWLY BUILT WALKWAY INSPECTED UNDER THE SAME PERMIT.
4REPLACE BROKEN GLASS WINDOW PANE (1001(h),708 HC)REPLACE BROKEN WINDOW GLASS ON THE SECOND FLOOR SIDE EXIT.
5RECHARGE ALL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS (905, 1001(m) HC) RECHARGE ALL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND PROVIDE CURRENT DATE TAGS.
6REMOVE EGRESS OBSTRUCTION AT (801,1001(l) HC)REMOVE CANS WHICH ARE BLOCKING THE GROUND FLOOR SIDE EXIT.
7REPAIR TOILET (1001f HC)REPAIR TOILET TO PROPER WORKING ORDER(APT 1)
8PROVIDE ADEQUATE LIGHTING (504g HC)PROVIDE ADEQUATE LIGHTING FOR INTERIOR AND EXTERIOOR SECOND EGRESS STAIRWAYS AND SIDE PASSAGE. PERMIT REQUIRED.
9OTHER INTERIOR VIOLATIONSREPAIR FRAMING AND REPLACE DOOR TO THE BATHROOM(APT 1) SFHC SEC. 1001.

PROVIDE APPROVED DOOR FOR ROOF ACCESS. SFHC SEC. 805.
10PAINT WALLS AND CEILINGS (1001b,1301 HC)PAINTING REQUIRED IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE INTERIOR COMMON AREA WHERE PAINT IS CHIPPING, PEELING AND/OR CRACKING.
11Disturbing lead based paint can be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to dwelling occupants and visitors, particularly to young children, pregnant women, pets, and to people performing work on the premises. For interior or exterior paint removal : Always wet the surface, contain and properly dispose of leaded paint. If you are unsure whether the paint is leaded, you should test it prior to performing any work. If the paint is found to contain lead, you should consult with an expert about appropriate procedures. Proper containment and 3-day notification is required for exterior jobs of more than 10 sq.ft. (Sec.3604, SFBC) Informational packets are available at (415) 558-6088. You can contact the San Francisco Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program at: (415) 554-8930 for free advice. IF YOU CAUSE LEAD DUST TO BE CREATED, YOU COULD BE LIABLE FOR ANY ILLNESS CAUSED BY THE DUST. Ordinance #446-97.LEAD WARNING.
12REPAIR FLOOR COVERING (1001b,j,o HC)REPAIR OR REPLACE CARPETING IN THE INTERIOR COMMON AREA WHERE CARPET IS BUCKLING AND CREATING A TRIPPING HAZARD.
13PROVIDE SELF-CLOSING DEVICES AT EXTERIOR DOORS (706 HC)PROVIDE SELF CLOSING DEVICE FOR ROOF ACCESS DOOR.
14INSPECTOR COMMENTSPROVID ACCESS TO ALL COMMON AREAS NOT VISIBLE AT TIME OF INSPECTION.


ALL ITEMS MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 30 DAYS. REINSPECTION DATE: 14 April 2000 10:00:00 AM

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE OWNER/OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRM REINSPECTION DATE/TIME.
