2REPAIR STAIRS (1001(b)(13)HC)EXTENSIVE WOOD DETERIORATION WAS NOTED THROUGHOUT THE REAR EXTERIOR STAIRWAYS SERVING APT#'S 1- 8. THE HANDRAILS/GUARDRAILS ARE LOOSE AND INSECURE. THE STAIR TREADS, RISERS, LANDINGS AND DECKS ARE DETERIORATED AND/OR COLLAPSING IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE STRUCTURE. THE SUPPORTING COLUMNS AND STRINGERS ARE ALSO EXTENSIVELY DAMAGED. THESE STAIRWAYS CONSTITUTE A LIFE HAZARD AS DEFINED IN THE SAN FRANCISCO HOUSING CODE SEC.401

YOU ARE REQUIRED WITHIN 15 DAYS TO FILE A BUILDING PERMIT AND COMMENCE REPAIRS. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE WORK WITHIN 30 DAYS. SIGNED PERMITS MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE FINAL INSPECTION IN ORDER TO ABATE THIS CASE.
IF REAR STAIRS ARE REPLACED YOU MUST SUBMIT COPY OF THIS NOTICE AND TWO SETS OF FLOOR PLANS WITH THE BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION.

8PROVIDE HEAT TO EACH OCCUPIED HABITABLE ROOM FOR 13 HRS BETWEEN 5:00 A.M. AND 11:00 A.M. AND BETWEEN 3:00 P.M. AND 10:00 P.M. CAPABLE TO MAINTAINING A MIN. ROOM TEMP. OF 68 DEGREES F. (20 DEGREES C.). (701c HC)PROVIDE PERMANENT HEATING SOURCE TO ALL HABITABLE ROOMS AT APT#8 WITHIN 48 HOURS.

NOTE: YOU MUST OBTAIN THE APPROPRIATE PLUMBING/ELECTRICAL PERMITS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE PERMANENT HEATING SOURCE. SIGNED PERMITS MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE FINAL INSPECTION IN ORDER TO ABATE THIS CASE.


ALL ITEMS MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 30 DAYS. REINSPECTION DATE: 18 September 2002 11:00:00 AM

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE OWNER/OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRM REINSPECTION DATE/TIME.
