YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

2The back wood stairs was inspected and appeared in a good and satisfactory condition at the time of inspection. However, the Department of Building Inspection urges all owners of property with exterior stairs, decks and attachments to have a licensed professional pest control contractor, general building contractor, architect or engineer inspect your deck, porch, stairs, balcony or other attachments, every 2 years to assure their continued stability and safety. Have them provide a written report stating recommended repairs. NOTE Regarding Required Compliance of San Francisco Housing Code Section 604 For Apartment Buildings/Residential Condos (3 or more units) and Hotels.
"You are required to comply with section 604 of the San Francisco Housing Code. Have the ""Compliance Affidavit"" form Signed by a General Contractor, Architect, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer or Structural Pest Control Inspector. The Affidavit Compliance Form is due on scheduled reinspection day.

3RECHARGE / SERVICE ALL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS TYPE '2A 10BC' OR EQUIVALENT.(905, 1001(n)HC) All fire extinguishers are required to be recharged and serviced annually and service date tag must be current and posted by a qualified professional vendor.

Check the pressure gauge periodically as occasionally the seal may leaks and the unit becomes ineffective.
Make sure that the date tag and pressure gauge are visible through the clear glass in a locked cabinets.
4PROVIDE A MINIMUM ONE CARBON MONIXIDE ALARM/DETECTOR PER DWELLING UNIT/APARTMENT(907.2.11 (SFBC) PROVIDE A AFFIDAVIT-SELF CERTIFICATION FOR THE SMOKE DETECTOR & CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS

Test smoke detectors on a regular basis and replace batteries annually to maintain a working and functional device. Advise occupants not to disconnect the batteries or remove the units inside the apartments or from public areas.
5PROVIDE SHUTOFF TOOL FOR GAS UTILITY SHUTOFF (712 HC) Install shut off tool in a visible and accessible location and adjacent to main gas valve
6POST ENCLOSED GAS METER INSTRUCTIONAL DIAGRAM IN A PUBLIC AREA. (712 HC) Post diagram in a visible location so tenants are aware of emergency gas shut off procedures.
7XXIt is the property owner¿s responsibility to be present or direct his/her representative to attend, the reinspection as scheduled on this Notice of Violation for the purpose of providing entry to the Inspector of those areas cited within this Notice. If the property owner cannot attend the scheduled reinspection (as specified on this Notice) it is his/her responsibility to secure a different inspection date and time with the Inspector. YOUR COOPERATION IS APPRECIATED.


ALL ITEMS MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 15 DAYS. REINSPECTION DATE: 05 January 2015 10:00:00 AM

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE OWNER/OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRM REINSPECTION DATE/TIME.
