Description:

POSSIBLE HCO VIOLATION/NIGHTLY RENTALS.We are concerned about the SRO in the neighborhood. There is a relatively new owner of the building. Since this change there has been a lot of new activity that is concerning for the neighborhood. There is obvious prostitution where johns are allowed into the building. There are regularly items thrown out of the building onto adjacent properties that include things like bike helmets and more concerningly, needles and used condoms. We would like to direct this complaint to DBI and the SRO Collaborative to convey that the this building is becoming an increasing nuisance to the neighborhood and would like regular inspections for things like appropriate needle disposal available in the building and to insure that tenants are not disturbing neighboring residences. What is done inside, no one cares but this is regularly impacting the neighbors. There is also inconsistent security at the building and things are worse depending on who is working security.
